Hello I’m Aimée Cox, Osteopath and Cranial Osteopath based in Hove and Brighton. I thoroughly enjoy my job, helping people like you get moving better and feeling better, as quickly as possible.
I love working with people of all ages from adults, to babies, children and teenagers. I also work with a lot of pregnant and postnatal mums. My aim is to restore your body to optimum health, and give you advice and work together with you, so you can live life to the full again.
I always tailor your treatment to you as an individual person, using a mixture of ‘structural osteopathy’ and ‘cranial osteopathy’. So this will be a mixture of joint articulation, muscle stretching and massage, working through your ligaments and fascia, and cranial techniques too.
Your treatment is individual to you, so it means that you will get better faster without paying for unnecessary treatments.
At your first session, you will have an in depth medical case history finding where I listen to why you have come to see me. Then you will have a full posture & movement analysis and examination. If needed you will also have neurological and orthopaedic testing too. I will explain your diagnosis and prognosis, and discuss your treatment plan with you. Treatment will be given too at the first session, if appropriate.

I qualified from the British School of Osteopathy after an intensive full time 4 year degree, and I also have extensive postgraduate training in both structural and cranial osteopathy.
Because I also enjoy treating babies and children, and pregnant and postnatal mums, I then completed the world-renowned 2 year postgraduate diploma in paediatric osteopathy from the Osteopathic Centre for Children (which also has a busy pregnant and postnatal mums clinic).
After I qualified, I worked in clinics in Essex and ran my own successful clinic in Southend. I then moved to the South Coast in 2013, and worked in Worthing for 4 years, as well as starting my own clinic in Hove.
My qualifications and training are:
- M.Ost (Distinction) British School Osteopathy
- Diploma Paediatric Osteopathy (Distinction) Osteopathic Centre For Children
